Raina Lewis
My name is Raina Lewis, and I am in the Master's Degree program in Instructional Technology at Kennesaw State University. I will begin the program in June 2016 and will graduate Summer 2018. I graduated from Shorter University in 2011 with a Bachelor's Degree in Middle Grades Education. I began my teaching career as a paraprofessional at Calhoun City Schools. After two years as a paraprofessional, I accepted my first teaching position in Polk County.
I currently teach 8th Grade Language Arts at Cedartown Middle School. KSU's reputation in instructional technology led me to the Master's Degree program in the Department of Instructional Technology. My ultimate goal is to effectively integrate technology into my classroom.
The purpose of this portfolio is to demonstrate mastery of the PSC Instructional Technology standards and the ISTE NETS-C standards. As you can see, there are a series of links below the KSU logo that you may visit. Of particular importance is the "standards" link. Under this link, you will see a series of artifacts and reflections documenting the important work I have completed during this program. Each artifact represents mastery of the standard under which it is represented.
